The best European badminton juniors in Novi Sad from June 23rd

The 10th edition of one of the most popular and best organized European youth tournaments "Serbian U17 & Youth International" will be held from June 23rd to 26th in the sports center "Slana bara" in Novi Sad.
The tournament will gathered more than 500 participants from record breaking 26 countries: Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Germany, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Israel, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Scotland, Switzerland, Sweden,USA and Serbia. All of them will cross reckets in man and woman singles as well as in men, women and mixed doubles.
This official European Cup for U17 and the open tournament for players under the age of 11, 13 and 15, held under the patronage of the European Badminton Confederation, is also a great announcement for the upcoming European Junior Championships which will be held from 18th to 27th August in Belgrade.
Serbian U17 & Youth International will start on Thursday June 23rd with matches for U11, U13 and U15 competitors, while U17 matches start on Friday Jun 24th. Saturday is scheduled for the quarterfinals and semifinals, while on the last day of the tournament, the best among the best in all categories will cross rackets in the finals.
A special guest of the tournament will be a member of the Board of Directors of the European Badminton Confederation Richard Vaughan, well known in the badminton world as the former seventh player of the world, two time Olypian and multiple medal winner at European and World tournaments.
Medal ceremony will be held after the finals on Sunday, June 26th and will be attended by high officials of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Provincial Secretariat for Sports and Youth, as well as the City of Novi Sad, who will present medals to the best juniors of Serbian U17 & Youth International Novi Sad 2022.
The hosts of this prestigious tournament are Badminton Federation of Serbia, Badminton Federation of Vojvodina and Badminton Club Novi Sad under the patronage of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Provincial Secretariat for Sports and Youth and the City of Novi Sad with the support of official partners of the Serbian U17 & Youth International: The Tourism Organisation of Serbia (TOS), The Tourism Organisation of Novi Sad, Minaqua, Bambi and Tinšped.
