The traditional Serbian U17 & Youth International begins in Novi Sad

The international competition "Serbian U17 & Youth International Novi Sad 2025" is breaking records again, and will gather almost 450 young competitors and more than 1000 participants from 25 countries in Europe and the world.
The tournament is being held for the thirteenth year in a row, organized by the Badminton Association of Serbia, Badminton Association of Vojvodina, Badminton Club Novi Sad, and with the support of the Badminton Europe Confederation, the Ministry of Sports, the Provincial Secretariat for Youth Sports, the City of Novi Sad and the Ministry of Tourism and Youth.
In the period from June 18 to 22, at the "Slana Bara" Sports Center in Novi Sad, competitors will compete in men's and women's singles, as well as in men's, women's and mixed pairs. On Wednesday, June 18, players aged 9 to 15 will be the first to take the courts, who will officially open this year's Serbian YOUTH International competition. From Friday, June 20, the courts are reserved for the Serbian U17 International competition for U17 players. The weekend is scheduled for the final elimination phase of the competition, semi-final and final matches, when the most successful will be officially announced. After the final competition part on Saturday, June 21, there will be a medal awarding ceremony for competitors up to 9, up to 11, up to 13 and up to 15 years old. On Sunday, we expect the final matches and the awarding of medals to the U17 competitors who achieved the best results.
The traditional tournament "Serbian U17 & Youth International Novi Sad 2025" belongs to the best European tournaments in terms of mass, level of organization, quality of competitors and other relevant parameters, and is included in the official calendar of the European Badminton Confederation. In the international framework, the tournament bears and confirms the official status of the Grand Prix competition, while at the national level it is recognized as a manifestation of importance for the Republic of Serbia, AP Vojvodina, the City of Novi Sad, and society as a whole. Serbian national team members in younger age categories have so far won hundreds of medals at international competitions.
The organization of this exceptional international manifestation was supported by: Badminton World Federation, Victor, Algotech, Beoexpo System, Tin Šped, Coca Cola HBC Serbia, Bambi, Birograf, VBS Solutions, Tourist Organization of Serbia, Tourist Organization of Vojvodina and Tourist Organization of Novi Sad.
