Novi Sad Ready To Host Serbian U17 & Youth International 2026

The traditional international badminton tournament "Serbian U17 & Youth International Novi Sad 2026", being held for the fourteenth consecutive year, will bring together nearly 900 participants from 21 countries.
Recognized as an event of special importance for the Republic of Serbia, the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, and the City of Novi Sad, the tournament is organized by the Badminton Association of Serbia, the Badminton Association of Vojvodina, and Badminton Club Novi Sad. The event is supported by the Badminton Europe Confederation, the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Serbia, the Provincial Secretariat for Sports and Youth, the City of Novi Sad, and the Ministry of Tourism and Youth. Once again, it ranks among the largest and highest-quality youth badminton competitions in Europe.

From 17 to 21 June 2026, competitors will compete in the outstanding sporting environment of the Slana Bara Sports Centre in Novi Sad. Matches will be played in men's and women's singles events, as well as men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles categories.
At the "Serbian Youth International Novi Sad 2026" tournament, young athletes will compete in the U15, U13, U11, and U9 age categories, while the "Serbian U17 International Novi Sad 2026" European Cup tournament will feature competitors in the U17 category. The U17 event holds the highest Grand Prix tournament status and has consistently maintained a leading position on the Badminton Europe calendar.
Serbian national team members and promising players from Novi Sad, Belgrade, Kruševac, Zrenjanin, Kragujevac, and Kikinda will face opponents from countries including Azerbaijan, Türkiye, France, England, Greece, Cyprus, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Portugal, Hungary, Romania, and many others.

The finals in the U15, U13, U11, and U9 categories are scheduled for Saturday, 20 June, with an approximate start time of 2:00 PM, while the final matches of the U17 competition will take place on Sunday, 21 June, starting at 12:00 PM.
The organization of this outstanding international sporting event has also been supported by the Badminton World Federation (BWF), Victor, Algotech, Beoexpo System, Tin Šped, Coca-Cola HBC Serbia, Bambi, Birograf, VBS Solutions, Kliping, the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia, the Tourist Organisation of Vojvodina, and the Tourist Organisation of Novi Sad.
